I’m taking a Master’s degree in engineering which is conducted in Chinese, so I know what I’m talking about. If you come with zero or rudimentary knowledge of Chinese, you’re not going to absorb much from Chinese classes even after a year or two of slogging for Chinese, unless you’re a genius (in which case, you wouldn’t come to China). My last university, Jinggangshan University in Jiangxi Province, had a large number of students from African countries and from Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, and, Nepal. There was even a student from New Guinea. My present university in Heilongjiang Province has a small number of students from Russia. It called ZhongZhao 中招考试(Junior high school academic examination and high school entrance examination) There were 98,600 students graduated in 2016 in my city. Chinese 120; Math 120; English 120; Physics 70 ; Chemistry 50; Politics 70; History 50; PE 70; Hands-on experiment 30; In total 700. I get up at 6:10.I have to get to school at 7:00. We have five lessons in the moring.From 12:00AM to 1:00PM is our lunch time. We have five lessons in the afternoon. After school(6:00PM),we will do our homework in the classroom until 8:00PM(=-=). Then go home. Do you think this is the end??? After dinner,I still do my homework until…… 11:00PM……12:00PM…… I even sleep at 4:00AM for a exam. STUDY UNLESS YOU ARE DEAD.
